Edible Beans Finish on Strong NoteVANCOUVER - Feb 2/07 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week on a strong note in the face of continuing demand for current crop product and improved demand for 2007 crop beans. European importers strongly believe dry edible bean area will decline this year as farmers switch land into corn and other crops sought by the bio-fuel industry. Consequently, many believe there is limited downside risk from accumulating new crop positions now. This has seen them active in Latin American markets are working with some North American suppliers, resulting in some reports of new crop export sales.
