Ag Markets Finish on Busy NoteCHICAGO - Feb 2/07 - SNS -- International agricultural commodity markets remain relatively busy at week;s end, despite an absence of big ticket sales reports. Cumulative export sales of corn now total 60.8% of the USDA's 2006-07 forecast, well ahead of the previous five-year average of 50.7%. Sales of 715,800 metric tons (MT) per week are needed to reach the USDA estimate. Cumulative wheat export sales have reached 77.9% of the USDA forecast for the season, slightly ahead of the previous five-year average of 77.1% for this time of year. Sales of 289,800 MT per week are needed to reach the USDA estimate. Cumulative export sales of soybeans now total 75.1% of the USDA forecast for the season, down from the recent five-year average of 80.0%. Cumulative soybean oil sales stand at 53.4% of the USDA's marketing year forecast, well ahead of the recent average of 37.7% for this time of year.
