Poor Liquidity Affects Canaryseed
VANCOUVER - Jan 26/07 - SNS -- Seasonally poor liquidity in birdseed ingredient markets continued to affect pricing, with North American markets managed a mixed finish.
Though large volumes of product are not trading, the scales readily tip between over and under supply in both canaryseed and millet markets.
The effect was obvious in canaryseed during the past week as grower selling lifted ahead of the immediate needs of the market.
