Food Peas Strengthen
VANCOUVER - Jan 26/07 - SNS -- International field pea markets strengthened during the week in the face of improved buying interest from the Indian subcontinent.
This was especially true of northern hemisphere suppliers, who are now benefitting from a reduced Australian harvest.
The situation on the Indian subcontinent was made more complicated during the past week by a government decision to close futures markets for two classes of pulses.
