European Feed Peas FirmVANCOUVER - Jan 26/07 - SNS -- European feed pea markets ended the week on a firmer note in both local and U.S. currency terms, helped by general strength in international feed ingredient markets. Markets are becoming concerned about the production outlook for the coming season because of expectations of a net increase in cereal grain and oilseed area in North America and Europe to feed biofuel requirements in both regions. This could result in a net decrease in field pea area in both Europe and the United States, further shrinking the feed pea market.
