Dairy Product Markets StrengthenWASHINGTON - Jan 26/07 - SNS -- Dairy product markets in the United States closed the week ending January 20 with across the board increases, judging from the latest USDA report on the sector. Cheddar Cheese prices paid for US 40 pound Blocks averaged $1.33 per pound. The price per pound advanced 1.1 cents compared to the previous week. The price for US 500 pound Barrels adjusted to 38% moisture averaged $1.33 per pound, up 2.0 cents versus last week. Butter prices received for 25 kilogram and 68 pound boxes meeting USDA Grade AA standards averaged $1.20 per pound. The U.S. price per pound increased 0.9 cents from last week. Nonfat Dry Milk prices paid for bag, tote and tanker sales meeting USDA Extra Grade or USPH Grade A standards averaged $1.09 per pound.
