Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 20,380 MT
KANSAS CITY - Jan 24/07 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 104,980 MT, compared to 135,650 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are up 6,530 MT at 21,530 MT versus 15,000 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 34,570 MT from last year's 67,310 MT.
