USDA Tenders for 22,180 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Jan 24/07 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 22,180 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender Solicitation 027, the USDA is maintaining is focus on field peas, with whole and split green and yellow peas accounting for 60.3% of the invitation total, while lentils account for 31.6% and dry edible beans 8.1%.
Offers are due February 6 for reply the following day.
