Red Meat Stocks DeclineWASHINGTON - Jan 22/07 - SNS -- Total red meat supplies in freezers fell 59 million pounds in December to 930 million pounds, up 5% from the previous year, notes the USDA in its latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Frozen pork supplies slipped 5% during the month to 440 million pounds, up 3% from the previous year. Stocks of pork bellies were up 31% from last month at 40 million pounds and down 17% from last year. Supplies of beef rose above year earlier levels, rising 8% to 469.5 million pounds, down around 38 million pounds from the previous month.
