Birdseed Ingredients MixedVANCOUVER - Jan 12/07 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished the week on a slightly easier note on inter-dealer markets at origin, while importers report little change in export market values. Both Canadian canaryseed and U.S. millet were somewhat easier at the dealer level in the past week, while grower markets were firmer in Canada and easier in the United States. Changes in the relationship between the Canadian and U.S. dollar, allowed some canaryseed processors to lower asking prices in an effort to attract demand for the small quantities growers are willing to sell at this time.
