World Ag Markets BusyCHICAGO - Jan 11/07 - SNS -- International agricultural commodity markets were busy overnight, with wheat, corn and soybean sales recorded to South Korea, Taiwan, Japan and China. The USDA's weekly export sales summary was released before markets opened and show wheat sales of 244,400 metric tons (MT), up from 135,100 last week and within trade expectations. The USDA's weekly corn export sales report was higher than expected at 1,176,800 MT of current crop and 340,400 of new crop for a total of 1,517,200. Weekly export sales for soybeans were also higher than expected at 589,500 MT. Meal sales came in at 101,500 MT, also above expectations.
