USDA Buys 3,710 MT of Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Jan 10/07 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 3,710 metric tons (MT) of peas and beans for shipment as food aid.
Under terms of Solicitation KCPG6-157, the USDA bought 90 MT of great northern beans and 3,620 MT of yellow split peas for shipment from inland plants between February 6 and 27, or from plants located at port between February 27 and March 20.
