Russian Oilseed Exports Slow
KIEV - Jan 9/07 - APK -- Russia exported 36,300 metric tons (MT) of oilseeds during November, according to the latest official data.
Basic export crops during the report month were sunflower seeds (36.4% of November export volume of oilseeds) and rapeseed (36.8%).
As for the crops, export of sunflower seeds in the report period was 13,200 MT, down 37% as compared to October export volume.
As compared to November 2005, export volume decreased by 6.5 times. Basic supplies of seeds in November were to Spain (9,000 MT) and Italy (4,000 MT).
