Canada's Weekly Exports Total 960,600 MTWINNIPEG - Jan 8/07 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 13,367,000 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year up 2,696,200 MT from the 10,670,800 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending January 7. Grower deliveries during the week included 424,100 MT of wheat; 136,800 MT of durum; 68,900 MT of oats; 123,800 MT of barley; 16,900 MT of flax; 232,900 MT of canola; 44,000 MT of peas; and 22,400 MT of corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 960,600 MT. On the grain side this included including 535,200 MT of wheat; 227,400 MT of durum; 32,300 MT of oats; 13,500 MT of barley; and no corn.
