Quiet First Week for 2007 Lentil Market
VANCOUVER - Jan 5/07 - SNS -- Lentil markets are starting the new year on a relatively quiet note, with limited business reported as traders were not yet fully returned from the Christmas and New Year's holiday season.
Medium term European demand is mostly covered; while Latin American buyers have yet to fully cover their needs for the first half of 2007.
That group was straggling back into the office during the week, with most not expected to return until January 8.
