Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jan 2/07 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Tropical Cyclone Warning current for coastal areas from Mardie to Cape Leveque,
extending inland to Telfer and Nullagine and including adjacent areas of the
Pilbara and SW Kimberley.
A Tropical Cyclone Watch extends inland from the warning zone into the eastern
Pilbara, NE Gascoyne, far SW Kimberley and NW Interior
Wind warnings for coastal waters from Kuri Bay to Eucla.
Severe Weather Warning issued for the Southern Goldfields, Southeast Coastal
district, South Coastal district and the eastern Great Southern for Thursday.
Forecast for Tuesday   evening
West Kimberley: Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Northern coastal Pilbara: Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Remainder of the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, north and west
Interior, and west Eucla: Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
SW Land Division: Scattered showers in the Southwest and Lower West District
extending north and east overnight. Isolated thunderstorms in the north and
east.
Forecast for Wednesday
SE Interior, eastern Eucla and far west Pilbara: Fine.
West Gascoyne: Isolated mostly morning showers.
Remainder: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Thunderstorms tending
scattered through the east Pilbara, east Gascoyne, western Goldfields and
eastern SW Land Division. Some heavy falls possible in the east Pilbara.
