Current Weather Situation and Future Developments A strong and slow-moving high pressure system is over the south Tasman Sea . is gradually strengthening and will move very slowly eastwards during the next few days. A low pressure trough over western New South Wales will weaken on Tuesday. A low pressure system is expected to develop over the western Bight on Thursday.
