France -- Field Pea Export Summary
VANCOUVER - Dec 13/06 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France picked up in October, as ongoing sales activity to India offset continued declines in shipments to its European neighbors.
Total export clearances in October reached 39,270 metric tons (MT), up 9,190 MT from September and 3,960 MT above year earlier levels, according to data assembled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP).
This lifted season to date exports to 152,665 MT, down 18.3% from the same four-month period of the 2005-06 marketing year.
