World Bean Markets Stay FirmVANCOUVER - Dec 8/06 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week on a generally firmer note, helped by massive strength in large caliber white beans. North America's spot market index for dry edible beans finished the week at 868, up 10 points on the week; while the grower index finished six points higher at 761. Light trading in all classes of North American beans was reported during the week, though prices for great northern beans ended the week on a solid note.
