Lentils Start Autumn in Bullish MoodVANCOUVER - Sep 27/02 - STAT -- The last week of September is finishing with nearly unprecedented uncertainty about the state of Canada's specialty crop harvest. Though not the slowest on record, Canada's importance to international markets is making this year's feel like the most drawn out event in history. This year's drought have combined with harvest delays caused by rain and sometime imperceptible progress toward maturity has resulted in widespread concern about the actual size of this year's harvest. Statistics Canada's releases updated crop production estimates October 4 and is expected to sharply reduce yields for all commodities.
