Chickpea, Bean Outlooks Not Clear Cut
VANCOUVER - Sep 27/02 - STAT -- Outlooks for this year's chickpea and dry edible bean markets are not as clear cut as the situation which appears to be facing product such as lentils.
Without doubt, delays with the 2002 harvest in several key pulse producing areas of North America and this year's western Canadian drought have reduced the both the quality and quantity of pulses which will be harvested in Canada and parts of the United States this year.
