AWB Lifts Some Wheat EPRsSYDNEY - Dec 4/06 - SNS -- The Australian wheat marketing board, AWB LImited, boosted Estimated Pool Returns (EPRs) for some of the major 2005-06 and 2006-07 wheat grades. In releasing the update, Acting General Manager National Pool, David Johnson, said AWB had shipped 15.20 million metric tons (MT) of wheat between December 1, 2005 and November 30, 2006, with 8.10 million MT being exported out of Western Australia. "AWB has already received over 750,000 MT of wheat in the 2006-07 National Pool as of last Friday, with over 500,000 MT from Western Australian growers," Johnson said. "As a result of continuing strong domestic sales for the 2005-06 prime hard and hard pools we have lifted EPRs by $2.50 - $3.50 MT." Subscribers can read the full text of the article by Clicking here
