Chickpeas Hold Value
VANCOUVER - Dec 1/06 - SNS -- Chickpea markets finished the week mostly unchanged as stocks available to the market remain slightly behind immediate needs.
Desi chickpea producers are watching the developing crop in Pakistan, where moisture conditions are rated excellent, worrying about the potential for exports to India during the opening quarter of 2007.
This could offset the positive effects expected from Australia's drought reduced harvest.
