Desi Chickpeas Worried by Rabi CropsVANCOUVER - Nov 24/06 - SNS -- North American chickpea markets finished the week with kabulis mainly unchanged and desis easier against concern over production prospects on the Indian subcontinent this winter. The Saskatchewan Wheat Pool recently made a good observation of the situation in that region, noting markets have been waiting a long time for evidence the coming rabi season crop would be a disaster, but there comes a time when hopes run dry.
