Dairy Product Markets Advance
WASHINGTON - Nov 24/06 - SNS -- Dairy product markets in the United States closed the week ending November 18 with uniform strength, judging from the current USDA update.
Cheddar Cheese prices realized for US 40 pound Blocks averaged $1.28 per pound. The price per pound increased 3.1 cents compared to last week. The price for US 500 pound Barrels adjusted to 38% moisture averaged $1.33 per pound, up 4.6 cents versus last week.
Butter prices paid for 25 kilogram and 68 pound boxes meeting USDA Grade AA standards averaged $1.29 per pound. The U.S. price per pound rose 2.1 cents versus last week.
Nonfat Dry Milk prices paid for bag, tote and tanker sales meeting USDA Extra Grade or USPH Grade A standards averaged 100.0 cents per pound. The U.S. price per pound advanced 2.1 cents compared to last week.
