Fresh and Frozen Veggie Stocks UpWASHINGTON - Nov 21/06 - SNS -- Frozen vegetable supplies rose 5% during October to finish the month at almost 2,599 million pounds, down slightly from the previous year, according to the USDA's latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Compared to the previous month, stocks of baby lima beans, broccoli spears, carrot and onion rings were up. Compared to last year, stocks of asparagus, fordhook lima beans, and brussels sprouts were down. Supplies of potatoes in cold storage were higher, rising 58 million pounds on the month to 1,068 million pounds, down 11% from the previous year.
