Fresh and Frozen Fruit Stocks UpWASHINGTON - Nov 21/06 - SNS -- Frozen fruit supplies jumped 24% during October to finish the month at almost 1,196 million pounds, down 1% from the previous year, according to the USDA's latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Inventories of frozen juice dropped 29% from the previous year and slipped 2% from the previous month to 987.6 million pounds. Fresh apples stocks finished the month at 5,950 million pounds, up 2% from last year, and up 93% from the previous month.
