MELBOURNE - Sep 25/02 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

WARNINGS:
Strong Wind Warning Cape Leeuwin to Israelite Bay.
Strong Wind Warning Northwest Cape to Kalbarri.  

STATE FORECAST
SW Land Division: Scattered showers about the SW Capes and western south coast
extending further along the south coast. A period of light showers or drizzle
reaching remaining parts of the Lower SW for a period Thursday morning. 
Eucla coast: isolated showers developing in the west later.
PERTH AND METROPOLITAN:
A few light showers clearing during the afternoon. SW'ly winds.

Mandurah:  Min: 8     Max: 18
HEADLINE:     Morning drizzle, clearing.
