USDA Buys for 2,000 MT Peas
KANSAS CITY - Nov 20/06 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 2,000 metric tons (MT) of feed peas for shipment to Philippines.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 116C, the USDA paid an average U.S. $243.21 MT for bulk peas delivered Tacoma, Washington between November 27 and December 22.
