Little Change in Field PeasVANCOUVER - Nov 17/06 - SNS -- International field pea markets finished the week little changed in light end-user buying activity. Markets in the United States were helped by the latest USDA PL-480 food aid tender, which is seeking 8,180 metric tons (MT) and whole and split yellow peas; 340 MT of green split peas; and 2,210 MT of green and/or yellow split peas. All the peas are for shipment from origin in January and come on the heels of a USDA purchase of 3,560 MT of whole and split peas for movement from origin in December.
