Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 17,320 MT
KANSAS CITY - Nov 16/06 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 74,080 MT, compared to 93,510 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are up 5,950 MT at 12,590 MT versus 6,640 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 19,270 MT from last year's 44,110 MT.
