France's Oilseed Output Rises
PARIS - Sep 24/02 - STAT -- Oilseed production levels in France are up over year earlier levels reports l'Office National Interprofessionnel des Oléagineux (ONIOL).
Decreases in sunflower seed production were more than offset by advances in rapeseed for a net increase in production from last year's 4.544 million metric ton (MT) result to an estimated 4.74 million MT this year.
In releasing its latest data, ONIOL said rapeseed production advanced from last year's 2.911 million MT result to 3.26 million MT. Sunflower production slipped from last year's 1.633 million MT result to an estimated 1.48 million MT.
