MELBOURNE - Sep 23/02 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For Tuesday WARNINGS: Nil. STATE FORECAST Very High fire danger for the North West Slopes and Plains, Central West Slopes and Plains, Riverina and Lower Western districts. Isolated showers and thunderstorms developing over southern and western districts, extending to central parts this evening, then contracting to the northeast half on Wednesday. Warm to very warm day. Light to moderate northeast to northwesterly winds freshening ahead of a milder southwest change in the west and south. This forecast is issued daily at 05.15, 1120 and 16.30. For more information
