Australian Chickpeas ControversialVANCOUVER - Nov 10/06 - SNS -- Chickpea markets remain strong in the face of solid demand for all classes of product and rampant speculation over the degree to which Australian yields have fallen from last year. Some market participants are dismayed by indications yields are down just 20% from last year; while they are expected to sink 65% for field peas and 81% for lupins.
