Birdseed Ingredients Firm
VANCOUVER - Nov 10/06 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets continued to strengthen through the past week.
Trading levels for both Canadian canaryseed and U.S. white proso millet were up on the week; while oil-type sunflower seed markets were firmer and confection steady.
An absence of grower selling in western Canada is supporting canaryseed; while doubts about the size of this year's harvest has strengthened millet markets.
