Edible Beans Continue AdvanceVANCOUVER - Nov 10/06 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets continued to strengthen in North America during the past week, with the spot market index for dealer market beans reaching levels not seen since May of 2005. The index finished the week up 14 points at 845, lifting the season to date average to 797, roughly 80 points better than the 2005-06 season average. Grower markets followed inter-dealer markets upward during the week, with the index of grower bids finishing 26 points higher at 738.
