Weekly Export Inspections Total 56,028 BushelsWASHINGTON - Sep 23/02 - STAT -- Exports inspections of major grains and oilseeds at U.S. ports totalled 56,028 bushels during the week ending September 19, according to data compiled by the USDA. This lifted season today export clearances to 395,815 bushels so far during the current marketing campaign, down 61,065 bushels from the 456,880 shipped during the same period last season. Last week's volume leader was corn with 28,836 bushels shipped, followed by wheat with 17,560 bushels cleared. This lifted season to date shipments for corn to 82,007 bushels, compared to 125,310 last season; while wheat clearances now total 284,190 bushels, versus 291,022 last year.
