USDA Tenders for 5,920 MT Peas
KANSAS CITY - Nov 3/06 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 5,920 metric tons (MT) of whole and split peas for shipment as food aid.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 116B, the USDA is appears to be covering peas it was unable to buy under terms of invitation 116.
However, instead of focusing on yellow peas, this tender is split between green and yellow; with whole and split green peas accounting for 62% of the total quantity sought and yellow peas the balance.
