Field Pea Port Clearances FalterVANCOUVER - Nov 2/06 - SNS -- Unofficial field pea export clearances during the opening quarter of the Canada's 2006-07 marketing year are down from the same period last season, judging from data available from the Canadian Ports Clearance Association. Shipments total 538,435 metric tons (MT), down from 630,558 MT between August and October of the 2005-06 marketing year. Clearances are down at all three major Canadian ports, with shipments through Thunder Bay down around 40,000 MT at 127,133; while clearances through Vancouver fall 30,000 to 356,644 MT; and Churchill is off around 23,000 MT at 65,600.
