Feed Peas Face Lackluster DemandVANCOUVER - Oct 20/06 - SNS -- North American feed pea markets were forced higher on the week to keep pace with the demands of the food pea market, but there appears to be little follow through from European importers. Changes in the value of the U.S. dollar had a greater impact on price relationships between feed peas and other major ingredients such as soybean meal. In both Europe and Canada, currency changes caused feed pea values to lose ground against soybean meal -- even though nearly meal prices advanced.
