Little Change in South African Pulse OutputPRETORIA - Sep 19/02 - STAT -- Pulse production levels in South Africa are not expected to change much during the 2002-03 marketing year, as potential gains in dry edible bean output levels are offset by a smaller lupin harvest. The Crop Estimates Committee of South Africa's National Department of Agriculture (SAGIS) says growers plan to boost dry edible bean seedings from last year's 44,900 hectares to 54,000 hectares during the coming summer season.
