USDA Tenders for 18,470 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Oct 18/06 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 18,470 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 116, the USDA is focussed exclusively on field peas and lentils. Lentils account for almost 15% of the invitation, green peas almost 19% and whole and yellow peas the balance.
