Peas Watch Australian Situation
VANCOUVER - Oct 13/06 - SNS -- North American pulse exporters took note of week ending reports from Australia that the drought and heat have worsened.
Australian traders report they are now struggling with the worst drought since the country was settled by Europeans and record high temperatures.
One trader said the week ended with the thermometer peaking at 37 degrees Celsius, nearly double his area's 19 degree average for the first half of October.
