Edible Beans Unchange to StrongerVANCOUVER - Oct 13/06 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading unchanged to stronger against relatively steady buying interest. The spot market index for U.S. origin dry edible beans finished the week up 10 points at 808; while the grower spot index in the United States finished 13 points higher at 712. Traders expect the coming SIAL food fair conference in Paris to attract larger than normal numbers of agricultural commodity traders, with more business than usual conducted. Last year's version of the fair was not as interesting for pulse and specialty crop traders as this one is expected to be, with a large contingent of Latin American traders planning to attend.
