Firm Finish For Lentils
VANCOUVER - Oct 13/06 - SNS -- International lentil markets finished the week's trading firm in relatively light activity.
Shortages of new crop green lentils in Canada continue to have a positive influence on prices, though old crop product continues to be available at substantial discounts to current crop.
Red lentils were supported on the week by steady demand and reports of further deterioration in Australian pulse crops.
