French Field Pea Exports Down
VANCOUVER - Oct 12/06 - SNS -- French field pea exports continued to lag year earlier levels in August, according to data assembled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP).
Shipments during the month totaled 49,410 metric tons (MT), down from 79,55 MT the same month last year. This lifted export clearances for the opening two months of the marketing year to 82,750 MT, down 27.2% form the same period last year.
