For Thursday WARNINGS: Land Gale warning for Sydney metropolitan, Hunter, Southern Tablelands, Illawarra, South Coast, South West Slopes and Central Tablelands districts. Storm Warning for NSW Coastal Waters south of Green Cape. Gale Wind Warning for NSW Coastal Waters Seal Rocks to Green Cape. Strong Wind Warning for NSW Coastal Waters between Seal Rocks and Port Macquarie. Storm and Gale warning for the Tasman Sea. STATE FORECAST Very High Fire danger for Northern Tablelands, Northern Rivers and the South Coast districts. Scattered showers over the southern ranges and southern inland extending to the central slopes and ranges but becoming isolated during Thursday. Snow in the Snowy mountains. Dry over the remainder of the state. Fresh to strong northwest to southwest winds across the state, reaching gale force about the ranges and coast south from the Hunter, with severe squalls. Winds gradually easing later Thursday.. HEADLINE: Isolated showers southern half of ranges and western slopes. Dry elsewhere. Strong to gale force winds, easing later.
