USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 320 MT
KANSAS CITY - Sep 17/02 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tender this season now totals 16,080 MT, compared to 15,360 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases up 6,400 MT from last year's 9,540 MT level.
