Lentils Unchanged to FirmerVANCOUVER - Oct 6/06 - SNS -- Lentil markets finished the week's trading unchanged to firmer in both the United States and Canada. However, influences on prices were somewhat different in each country. The latest USDA PL-480 food aid tender is boosting red lentil values in that country because it includes a request for offers of 3,380 metric tons (MT) of red lentils for shipment to Sri Lanka.
