Canada's Weekly Exports Total 594,300 MT
WINNIPEG - Oct 6/06 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 5,301,900 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year up 1,642,300 MT from the 3,659,600 moved last year.
The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending October 1.
Grower deliveries during the week included 409,900 MT of wheat; 80,900 MT of durum; 50,000 MT of oats; 93,500 MT of barley; 18,600 MT of flax; 183,900 MT of canola; 34,200 MT of peas; and 100 MT of corn.
The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 594,300 MT. On the grain side this included including 243,400 MT of wheat; 64,700 MT of durum; 36,000 MT of oats; 12,800 MT of barley; and no corn.
